PPA Series
Delta Pure’s PPA Cartridges are designed for use in most applications where absolute rated pleated filtration is required. With 6.5 square feet of filtration media per 10 inch length, the PPA Cartridge provides an economical solution for critical applications. PPA cartridges are constructed with 100% polypropylene materials and assembled using the latest thermal bonding equipment. They make an ideal membrane pre-filter and can also be used as an alternative to membrane filters in some applications. PPA cartridges deliver high flow rates with minimal pressure drop. Various end cap configurations are available to fit most standard and sanitary housings.

PPA Cartridges used in Ultrapure Water Systems
A well-designed UPW system requires several stages of filtration/purification. Delta Pure’s PPA Pleated Polypropylene cartridges are used as pre-filtration for the Reverse Osmosis (RO) units. The PPA cartridges are usually 5 micron or less and ensure protection and proper operation of the RO membranes.
They are also used as a post-filtration for Mixed Beds DI units to trap any resin that may release from the Beds. The PPA cartridges are usually 2 micron or less for this application.
The PPA’s low-pressure drop, high purity construction and 99.98% efficiency make it an excellent choice for Ultrapure Water Systems and other high purity applications.
